Fundraiser for Dani Paulson’s recovery

Dear DC Burner Fam,
One of our own needs our support. Dani Paulson is recovering from a terrible car accident that left her with many serious injuries. Her fiance Robert died in the crash.
A group of us have launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise some money to get her through the next little period of recovery:

You may know Dani as a regular attendee of Burns, where she might often be found rallying cooks in the Camp Contact kitchen, or exemplifying Burner principles like welcoming the stranger or radical inclusion.
In addition to much needed financial support, we're gathering clothes (she’s 5’7, slender, and needs easy to put on clothes and size 9 shoes), along with daily living supplies. And also reaching out to people in our community who have skills and time to volunteer to help support her recovery now that she is out of the hospital, but not yet able to get into a physical rehabilitation program. We are developing lists of what is needed and donation locations to drop items, including at Makepeace Manor and Whytestone. Hit me up please for more details or to brainstorm.
