DC Burner Jam Weekly Happy Hour

In 2014, the DC Not Washington theme camp (now IAMU, soon to be something else) started hosting regular weekly Thursday happy hours at a local bar. These grew over time into a broader DC Burner Jam and have gained quite a following. It has been good for the community to have a steady, regular option to find and meet engaged local burners. We have occasionally moved the location to support the many other burner events happening all over town on a Thursday, but we do think that consistency in time/day is helpful. We are also instituting RC “office hours” on the first Thursday of the month where as many of us Regional Contacts who are available will make sure we are there to meet people, answer questions, hear grievances, whatever.
