Welcome to the Glowhouse! We are 2 men and 2 women, between the ages of 26
and adult-ish, that enjoy sharing, eating, and (when we can find it) time
together. Our household is completed by a 15-year tuxedo cat, Crackers, and
a 2-year old, rascally hound dog, Twiggy. This is a social house in that we
often host workshops, events, and parties, as well as regular couch surfers
and AirBnBers.

What we're looking for: A new housemate (surprise!) who has preferably
lived in a group setting before (and liked it, knows that chores are a
thing), doesn't take themselves too seriously, can hold a conversation
about non-work related things, is able to deal with the routine stuff of
group living with minimal drama, and likes fun. Do you like fun? Do know
how to make it? We'd love someone who has friends and a robust life in DC
to add to our mix.

The room available is on the second floor, pretty large, with a closet,
it's own bathroom and fire escape. It is on the front side of the house on
13th Street and gets a ton of morning light.

The house is 1 block from the Target etc. at Columbia Heights metro
(green/yellow), a 5 minute walk to the 11th Street strip (Wonderland,
Meridian Pint, the Coupe. . .) and a 15 minute walk to U St and Adams
Morgan.

What the heck, a little more about us: We do a bunch of things
professionally and for fun including acroyoga, juggling, dancing, coding,
recruiting, hooping, cooking etc., and a couple of us go to burning man and
music festivals. We aspire to gardening (or just to have live houseplants),
a well-trained dog, varying degrees of good cooking/eating, and a tidy
kitchen, but reality is a work in progress. We live together by choice
because we like the company and hope to find someone who is interested in
the same.
