From Megan Miller, who was at our town hall last night : Harley Dubois and I are at the White House this morning - Burning Man was invited to participate in kickoff events related to the National Week of Making. It's inspiring and encouraging to be surrounded by like minded individuals and organizations, and to see our DIY creative culture being recognized and celebrated at the highest levels of government. We've always known Burning Man had the potential to change the world. Now others are catching on too. Thank YOU for being part of it all. I had the pleasure of attending a DC Burner Town Hall last night and was deeply impressed by all of the events and activities the Regional Network is engaged in here.
