Really? Nobody really uses this list anymore. I get something like 2-3/yr but if it is unacceptable the unsubscribe instructions are, as always, at the bottom of every email. If that, as you have noted, has been unsuccessful, I would suggest just deleting the 2 or 5 emails a year you get before you even open them.

*** if you have been successful removing yourself from spam emails that you never signed up for (passwords or not) please let ME know!
