JAY MARX on House of Cards???

Groups audience:

hey burner familia. princess tiffany here.

I know that many of you knew our beloved paisano,  Jay Marx.  And also know that he died tragically in a swimming accident last year.

I knew Jay both from the world of burner bacchanals, and also from the world of peace action.

So my favorite wife and I have been slowly working our way through House of Cards. It was a lot more interesting I think when he was House Majority Whip.

Tonight we decided to watch an episode toward the end of season 3. Part of the reason we did was because that episode takes place on the eve of the Iowa caucuses - and we thought we would watch it on the eve of the Iowa caucuses.

So President Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) is debating his two primary opponents. And there are a bunch of actors playing Iowa citizens sitting behind each of the three candidates. And I'm watching, and suddenly, I see, sitting directly behind Frank Underwood, in the first row ...Jay Marx!

At least it sure did look like good old Jay. Full beard. Beautiful long hair. Shrewdly intelligent eyes.

So two questions:

1. Does anyone happen to know if Jay showed up for a casting call for House of Cards extras - and apparently was cast to sit in this crowd shot?

2. Even if not, if you have Netflix, go have a look for yourself. It's episode 37. Scroll to the debate. Have a look. Is that Jay?

I really think it was him.

It was really good to see him.

I really miss him.
