Makepeace Manor is excited to host an Author Event next Tuesday at 7:00 PM.
Lisa Brunette, a friend of mine since we were interns together in DC, has been building a literary career and, having recently published two books, made that big jump and quit her day job to write full time. Her new novel Cat in the Flock is the launch of her Dreamslipper series, and she also published a book of poems, Broom of Anger.
Lisa is a great writer, an amazing personality, and an inspiration to all artists and writers to follow our dreams til they become reality.
She is based near Seattle so this is a rare chance to introduce her to our crowd. My goal is to have a really full house to make this a worthwhile and exciting event for her and for us. And maybe we'll provide her some inspiration for her next book!
