I ran into a black man camped with one group last year who was just
immersed in the identity of being (by his own words) 'the black brother' -
he was smiling and loving that there was a brotherhood defined by hearts
and minds - when he said brother, he and those in his camp meant it, they
were close and connected based on the energy of each other, not skin color
or tone - and at the same time, completely in the frontal awareness was his
ongoing joke about being the black guy in an otherwise white camp.

that being said, I actually was wondering if the census is officially a
part of the Burning Man Project, or is the Census an off-shoot camp ...
kind of like Earth Guardians?
