This Saturday is the annual www.funkparade.com. Street fair all OVER the U street hood from noon to 4, PARADE from 4-5, outdoor music from 5-10, after parties at Trop and U Hall and the Cat 😻 till dawn.
PLUS, it's the last time I myself got to hang out with our beloved departed paisano Jay Marx, so for me at least it's going to be a poignant and bittersweet day.
