New PDF Theme Camp -- Camp Drama Llama

Groups audience:

Hey there, this is a message for anyone headed to Playa Del Fuego this
Memorial Day Weekend. Get excited for a brand new theme camp: Camp Drama
Llama! This camp will channel the thespian arts, and will reflect the fact
that drama happens sometimes in our world, whether we wish to embrace it or
shun it... Or mock it. Mocking is good.

Camp Drama Llama will soon be renowned for Judge Llama's Drama Court, our
Open Mic Main Stage Dramatic Takeover, and a game where contestants try to
throw little light balls into carefully arranged glasses -- we call it
Drama Llama Ping Pong. Camp Drama Llama will also be hosting PDF's famous
(and dramatic) Midnight Streak! on Friday night. And, not yet announced
(except it is), Dueling Megaphones!

Are you headed to PDF or looking to get there and interested in joining a
theme camp? Great news -- Camp Drama Llama has booked some playa space and
is recruiting for our herd. We have no camp dues (though voluntary
donations to cover costs are much appreciated). We have no meal plan (bring
what you need, share what you wish, avoid the hassles). We have no
initiation (you'll have to paddle yourself, we simply won't do it). As of
today we have room for about 10 more llamas, so stop standing around
spitting and llama up by sending the following survey back to
Brewster.vonThyme@gmail.com :

Name__________________________

Email__________________________

Do you have acting or theatrical experience?___________________________

Does drama follow you everywhere you go?____________________________

Do llamas follow you everywhere you go?______________________________

What would you contribute to make Camp Drama Llama great
(again)?________________

Do you have shade structure(s)

Would you represent for CDL by doing a PDF volunteer
shift?____________________

Are we there yet?_______________________________________

Many thanks. We will get back to all applicants within 48 hours. After
which there may be a hastily organized planning meeting, TBA, TBD, TBT.

Comments

This is the one and only planning meeting for the newest and bestest PDF
camp! Come plan if you want to be part of the Llama pack.

Important topics will include shade, megaphones, costumes, and balls. CDL
is already in the What Where When, and we have the best space at PDF -- 3C,
right across from the barn, central spot in the midst of the Midnight
Streak!

Anyone else you think might dig this silliness -- spread the word! These
250 customized ping pong balls aren't gonna bounce themselves, y'all...

Meeting is at 4:20 PM this Sunday, May 22, at Dramatic Makepeace Manor,
6516 Montrose St., Alexandria, VA, 22312. Phone 703/508-4418.

Cheers,
Your Llama Mamas
