Looking for folks to participate in this year's Ten Principles )'( Storytelling project!

Hey friends, it's about that time of year again!!

For a third year in a row, *we're returning to the Capital Fringe festival*
to share our true stories on stage, for each other as well as the rest of
the Festival's community of artists and audience members. And we're looking
for *NEW PARTICIPANTS* to join us! :-D

This is truly a gift and it is up to each person to decide how much they
want to give, whether it be committing to telling a story at just one show,
all six, or anywhere in between.

Over the past two years, an average of 15 DC area burners have participated
each year, for a total of 11 shows for 384 audience members. *Our
percentage of the box office sales goes directly to Burngins* who attended
a performance and were headed to the Playa for the first time in the month
or so after the festival, and we've gifted a li'l over $2,600 to 20
Burngins to help with their first Burn, whether it went to travel expenses,
supporting an art project, or anything else they needed or wanted to for
their first trip.

And no one goes on stage without at least one rehearsal with me, to work
through your story and storytelling techniques in general, either on the
phone or in person. We've also taken radical inclusion to another
level by *committing
to provide ASL interpreters for 3 of our shows*. Being at the Argonaut on H
Street, I thought that this show would provide a particularly special
opportunity to reach out to Burners and Burner-curious in the deaf
community.
