> Hi DCLL'ers and fans.
> No this is not a wedding announcement. It's a chance for you to share your great idea/s (big and small) for Sound Scene. This will be our 10th anniversary of Sound Scene- aka a great big celebration of audio and listening. The theme this year is "Dissonance." This form is due by Feb 1.
>
> Please share this widely. We welcome proposals from artists of all stripes. This is an audio-focused installation. Sound Scene will take place at the Smithsonian Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden on Saturday July 8, 2017.
>
> What is Sound Scene?
> Once a year we produce an interactive audio installation (called Sound Scene) and we want your audio stories, artistic features, interactive players, games, abstract concept pieces, etc etc. And here is a place for you to tell us about your proposal/s (however rough or vague or polished and sparkling).
>
> Even if we've talked about an idea in the past and said YES to you- please fill out this form so we have all your details in one place. Thanks!

We'd be so pleased to have your work be a part of this celebration of sound. Please answer all of the following questions for EACH proposal you'd like to submit. 1 form per project/installation idea. If you are working as part of a team, please have only one member of the team fill out this form (but please do note each artists/producer's' name below). Questions? email dclisteninglounge@gmail.com. We aim to make decisions around the end of February. If you'd like to submit a work sample along with this form please email dclisteninglounge@gmail.com with the subject "Work Sample 2017_YOUR NAME." Thanks a lot.

> DC Listening Lounge Explained:
> Once a month this rag-tag group of audio enthusiasts meets in someone's living room. We draw no blood and make no demands. We simply sit on sofas, chairs, the floor and listen to each other's work. We also eat and drink. Join us!
