Dear Burner Buddies,
One of our own was viciously attacked last year. Dani, a very sweet young
woman you may have met managing the Camp Contact kitchen at PDF or at other
events, was truly lucky to escape alive. It has taken a very long time, but
her attacker -- a 6'6, 260 pound man, a total stranger to her who was out
of his mind on PCP when he broke into her apartment -- is having his trial
today.
To rally support for Dani as she goes through this important milestone, I

We're already well underway to our goal, thanks to a wonderful outpouring
of donations from individuals in this circle. I'd like to encourage
everyone who can to pitch in to support this effort, so we can as a
community help her get back on her feet and moving past this horrible
trauma.
Also please spread word of this effort to others who might want to pitch in
to support a good person who was the victim of a random and violent crime.
