Burner dinner is a way to facilitate conversations and connections outside parties/oontz oontz :) the next one will be:
Monday, December 19 at 6:45 PM

at: Habesha Market & Carryout1919 9th St NW, Washington, District of Columbia 20001

I am attempting to slowly transition away from Facebook for planning this event. If you'd like to RSVP to co
me (all burner-identified and burner-curious are welcome), you can email me (if you got the fb event you can RSVP there, but please don't do both! as i will confuse me)
details:after the awesome success of taking over a taqueria last month (so delicious! hooray suppo
rting local and immigrant-owned businesses), i'm going to try and keep it going with some lesser-known (and less expensive) places with good reviews.

Habesha gets great reviews for its ethiopian food. the interior is actually pretty good sized (there's a back dining area apparently) and it's easy to get to and very veggie friendly. they do sell beer and wine.

thanks!
